This is by far my favorite Ncuti Gatwa episode yet. This episode manages to both feel very fun cosmic horror underpinnings and has visually one of the most cursed looking monsters I’ve seen come out of Doctor Who. I want to talk in detail, I want to spoil the whole thing it’s just so good I wanna write a lot about everything that happened.

In my opinion reviews should generally steer clear of spoilers though especially when something is good, you have to give your audience a chance to experience the wonder and joy the same way you did.

This cute cartoon is Lux, and he/she/they/it has is the reason for the Doctor’s adventure this episode. You may recall that I just mentioned the monster of the week being “cursed” you don’t know the half of it, and this picture is oh so very decieving.
