Monday Roundup: February 10, 2025

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve done a roundup. It’s actually been a bit since we’ve had much content. To say that this year has been tumultuous is doing a disservice to tumultuous things. The three of us have been tumulted and took a moment to get our footing so that we can untumult ourselves.

And now that we are untumulted, we can resume our regularly scheduled programming. This includes a plan and schedule of things to come.

McKenzie is going to be working on getting back to the short fiction reviews she had been doing, as well as touching on books and visual media. Tomorrow there will be something posted here from her, possibly a book called Black Sun or a series called Paradise.

Ian has a Warhammer book review coming and plans to check out the new Marvel movie. Be on the lookout for those, with one coming Thursday.

As for me, well I shall be doing a bunch of random things as usual. Picking up on the Dexter Original Sins series as that got derailed from the weekly plan. I have about 9 books I am working my way through, I should pick one and finish it. There are also a bunch of games I have played I need to write up reviews on.

I have my pool table ready to be used at home, so if you hear pool balls clacking it’s likely me. Let’s call that time spent working on things in my head.

I’m looking forward to this winter of the untumulted. And seeing what Machiavellian schemes lie ahead as 2025 unfolds.
